The Problem
Individuals find it hard to pay existing Medical Insurances on the market. Many have fluctuating income and the products are expensive. However, the biggest issue is Cultural barriers as they do not understand the concept to pay in the eventuality that they might get sick during the year.
On the other hand, Insurance Companies have a hard time to collect the payments for their members. Some might pay for certain months and stop. Companies spend a lot just in contacting members and trying to get their payments for the services. They in-fact have to increase the price tag of their offerings to cater for these risks.

About the Project
Our mission at LetsBe Inc. is to give all Africans the ability to improve their happiness and expand their wellness circle.
Our platform is not just an app because it connects real people and encourages personal interaction to better understand the role of preventive health through participation in community events and online webinars.
At LetsBe Inc, users will find medical care providers, guides to nutritious food, places to practice a sport or hobby that contributes to physical and mental wellbeing, or advice for family wellbeing thru cultural activities.

The Solution…
We will have an online platform where Members and Service Providers in Health, Insurance and Wellbeing will be able to interact, advertise and make transactions. At the same time, we will employ people from different Communities to carry out regular talks about preventive health, wellbeing and be the physical contact of the platform with members.
Members will have a monthly subscription fee. They get monthly commissions for a year for recommending other people to the platform. They will receive Medical Insurance for free upon recommending a certain number of people. The commissions go into the e-wallet of the person.
This cash in the e-wallet can also be used for purchases on the platform.
An Ideology now A reality
The ability to get medical care when needed, to eat something which is healthy, to practice a sport or hobby when one wants, to have the opportunity to go on a family tour to discover a culture, to be Happy are the aspects of our live which people want more and more today. All the stakeholders are frustrated with the lack of opportunities.
A Solution that takes benefit of economies of scale, one which is close with people - to educate them, to motivate them and that leverages Digital Technologies with the core ideology of Sharing is Caring is our Project called LetsBe.
It all began with an idea….
Ten years back, I started working in Nigeria. I went to the hospital for malaria. At the doorstep, I saw an old lady sitting in pain. She couldn’t pay for her medical expenses and thus no treatment. This scene has struck me for long time and I wanted to do something about it and much more….
